Does "successor contract" mean she is retiring? Is that what you are getting at? Does she have a contract in place for this coming school year? Or is the exec session this Tuesday to discuss her contract for 2017-2018?

CT was hired for 3 years, July 1, 2012-June 30, 2015. Got an extension for 3 more years til June 30, 2018. This is to discuss extending her contract again. How can Melrose extend the contract of a superintendent who under her direction was found guilty on four counts of civil rights by the OCR. Has multiple cases pending against her in various agencies and courts. Promotes racist perpetrators. Covers up crimes against humanity. Hires expensive outside attorneys and a PR firm to promote an illusion of normalcy while the school system fails our children. Citizens of Melrose are
complicit in allowing racism, bullying, retaliation... if they don't swiftly oppose this vote that will occur this Thursday, Aug. 30th at the SC meeting during Executive Session. The reason Melrose has so many corrupt people in our school system is because RESIDENTS OF MELROSE DO NOTHING TO PREVENT AND STOP THIS FORESEEABLE AND PERVASIVE ABUSE OF POWER!

All parents,residents,staff should be attending this meeting to stop CT for one more day as superintendent of Melrose schools.

I'm sure it is purely coincidental that a pivotal meeting which may extend the superintendent's contract for several years is being held the night before the first day of school?? Ya think??[:-?]

Isn't odd, that when executive sessions need to occur, they do so at various times? Sometimes it is at the beginning. Why are they waiting so late?
