I believe in redemption but only if the person admits to his crime and pays restitution - and that is what Ed has not done. Instead of paying back those he stole from - he instead protected his assets by the use of his wife. Ed - redeem your self and pay back those you stole from - it is the only way to redemption.
Agree with John, except for one thing, Ed can't redeem himself for his unredeemable conduct on the SC. His brown-nosing, patronizing, sycophantic words and harmful actions will live on in infamy. To date, there has not been one action or comment that is not disingenuous (or worse). He is unremittingly condescending and hostile to any who might have a differing view. His actions and votes have only served to further his political goals and have certainly not done any good for the school community or taxpayers.

The only reason why Ed ran for school committee was that he thought that this might help get his law license back with the help of Mayor Brodeur and other influential members of the school committee. Sorry, Ed, it won't work, once a felon, always a felon, and especially in your case.
