Meetings where the public can show up in great numbers.

They should go back to having open on-site meetings where the public can show up in great numbers....not to do so...is an injustice to free speech.

Open meeting law only requires 48 hour notice about a public meeting held by a city commission or Board - and you have to go to the city website to find this out - I personally don't consider this much notification unless you visit the city website nearly every day.

Also, meetings are now held on Zoom....just try negotiating the city internet system to participate in these zoom meetings - even city officials have trouble with their systems...and they breakdown from time to time. They should go back to having open on-site meetings where the public can show up in great numbers....not to do so...is an injustice to free speech and bureaucratic control of the populace.
