It’s interesting the water and sewer rates increases will be recommended on April 30, 2019. Four weeks after the special election. Apparently the city doesn’t want residents to be thinking about the increase water& sewer rates.
They tried the same bull$hit there that they did here, including making the rate increase retroactive. The difference there was that over 100 people showed up and raised hell. They claimed they did it to "promote conservation". Sound familiar? A zebra doesn't change it's stripes when it moves to another town.
There's nothing "fair" or trustworthy about any of the actions coming from either board or mayor in today's Melrose. There's also very little that is competent, including the way the city charter is constructed. It was incompetently drafted from the start and remains so.
The rate increase is coming. For water just think about because you all have the money for it with the taxes,It is what it is.Thanks to all you that vote for new taxes.
Well there's an appropriate comment for a water and sewer discussion.
I'm not a Democrat, but in any case, it's clear you didn't actually read the report. It didn't say there was no collusion or obstruction. It said there was not enough evidence to file obstruction charges. Collusion isn't a crime so there can't be a legal case about it.
