Hubble Bridge : Deceased or alive, there is always a problem!

With regard to the Hubble Bridge, now sadly deceased, awaiting some form of burial! Bearing some similarity and controversy to some human dead folks, problems whether major or minor are at times left behind for the living folks to decipher, or come up with an answer. And, the Hubble Bridge is no exception to bereavement woes by those who mourn its passing. I was reading an article with regard to the Hubble Bridge, and it seems there is a problem with regard to the Hubble Bridge exact age - how old was the bridge? As its exact date of construction according to an article is 'unknown'.

Now informatively, the GoGouyave forum readers/writers may swing into action, summoning 'memory' brain cells into action, by asking not only old Gouyave folks or old folks on the isle in differing parishes or those further afield, to come up with a rough estimate as to when the Hubble Bridge was constructed? Historians of the isle, any idea when the Hubble Bridge was constructed? Speculatively, was it donated by Foreign Aid money during colonial times? Or was it constructed by slaveowners to get barrels of muscavado across to ships waiting at L'ance Goyave?

Re: Hubble Bridge : Deceased or alive, there is always a problem!

I was just wondering if anyone in the area of Hubble Bridge or anyone who can contact someone in the area to checkout the Rubble that is left of Hubble to see if there is a date somewhere on the walls that once was the bridge. Usually when a structure is built there is always a date or name etched in the cement. Just a suggestion.
