Worked with the Grateful Dead (with her husband, keyboardist Keith Godchaux), Percy Sledge “When a Man Loves a Woman”, Elvis Presley “Suspicious Minds”, Duane Allman, Cher, Neil Diamond, R.B. Greaves, Joe Tex, Dionne Warwick, Ben E. King and Boz Scaggs. She was also married to bassist David MacKay.

There is no further information anywhere regarding the death of DANNY WEIS (IRON BUTTERFLY). It is probably a case of mistaken identity with the Gypsy Swing guitarist DANNY WEISS from Osnabrück/Germany, who passed away a few days ago.
