JIMMY CLIFF (b. James Chambers July 30th 1944, d. November 24th 2025) Another big beast gone…. Jamaican reggae star who had worldwide success with songs such as ‘The Harder They Come’, ‘You Can Get If You Really Want’, plus covers of Cat Stevens ‘Wild World’ and many more. Inducted into the R&R hall of fame in 2010.

James Walton Aldridge Jr., an American musician, singer, songwriter, engineer and record producer, died on November 19, 2025, at the age of 70. In the late 1980s, Aldridge sang lead vocals in The Shooters, a country band which charted seven singles for Epic Records.

Bill Ivey (William James Ivey) Died Nov. 7, 2025 of a heart attack - Born Sept. 6, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.- American folklorist and author. Was a chairman of the National Academy of Recording Arts, director of the Country Music Foundation, the Country Music Hall of Fame And Museum, founding editor of the Journal of Country Music and four-time Grammy Award nominee in the Best Album Notes category.

IAN LEE (d. 22nd November 2025) Australian musician, bass player in Moving Pictures. They had an Australian #1 and US top 30 hit in 1982 with the power-pop ballad ‘What About Me?’

JELLYBEAN JOHNSON (b. Garry George Johnson 19th November 1956, d. 21st November 2025) Minneapolis based drummer, songwriter, guitarist and producer who worked with Prince, Alexander O’Neal and Janet Jackson.

Another one from the last year... KEITH BONTHRONE, drummer for the British progressive rock band JANUS, died 25. of December 2024. Founded in Krefeld, Germany in 1969, they recorded the fantastic and highly collectable album \"GRAVEDIGGER\", Harvest 1972 with amazing skeleton cover, one of my all-time faves, absolutely worth listening.

(Folk, country, rock and blues) Led the Bootleggers and the Nervous Wrecks. Worked with Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band and Hard Working Americans. He did, \"Talking Seattle Grunge Rock Blues\". His songs have been covered by Tom Jones, Gary Allan, Jack Ingram, Jason & The Scorchers, Charlie Robison, Rick Trevino, Jerry Jeff Walker, Billy Joe Shaver, Keith Sykes, Corb Lund and others.
