Having lived with gender dysphoria, David transitioned in the 1990’s following the death of his wife.

Very sad news : PEABO BRYSON (b. April 13, 1951), the two time Grammy Award winning singer, passed away in Marietta, Georgia, on June 2nd, 2026, at age 75, after suffering a stroke on May 31st. He was well known for his 1980s and 1990s soft rock ballads. He sang \"If Ever You\'re In My Arms Again\" in 1984 and \"Can You Stop The Rain\" in 1991. Additionally, he was well known for singing Disney movie songs, like \"Beauty And The Beast\" with Celine Dion, and \"A Whole New World\" with Regina Belle. RIP, Peabo!
