I want to send condolenses to the family of Adrian Thompson aka Specky of Barbados who resided at Melville Street, St.George's. Well known proprietor of Specky's Restaurant and Bar. Whenever I return to visit Grenada I will miss him. RIP buddy. (Just visited this page June 6, 2010 and saw his passing on June 10 2010) 2 sad. |

I was a Peace Corps volunteer 1969-74 In Grenada. I lived for two years in Victoria and the balance in Gouyave working with the St. Johns fishing Co-Op. Miss the fish broth and oil downs. Miss my friends; Mano, Makdon, Nathz, Daddy Chess, TT, Anselm, and my favorite boat "Hunter". The trips to the islands to wrap big jacks and round robin. Hand lining big tuna and bill fish in small boats. Sa Sa Yeh |
