I always liked RAl, big fan, actually had a few good friends in the Kenosha Kingsmen that played in RA, Roger Flood and Ron ? I would have liked to play in RA, but back then distance was a problem ? I Iwas in the USNR and got called up in 1970, but sad when I got a letter telling me that the Kingsmen folded ? even had a RA jacket that I got thru Roger Flood, wish I would have kept it, mom when in the military cleaned house and sadly thru it out ? Sad what has happened to Drum Corps ! many people think that DCI did many corps wrong ? plus money problems ? Wish RA even today was not so far away, I would like to play in the all age unit ? stil have many old records etc amd got from Ken Norman, fellow Kingsmen FORMER, a CD at a show one time in 2007. God Bless you RA ! still get to a few shows yet, sad not many shows or corps ? |

I am seriously trying to locate a dear old friend from the Royal Airs around the early 1960's. His name is Joseph M. Chappell and right after he left the corp, he joing the Marines around 1963. Any ideas of how to locate Joe would be very much appreciated. |
