Now there is the foolishness and lack of insight into RD. His rhetorical praise of CT is in spite of his total contempt for her simultaneously, and that's because of his notion of pride. He voted for this monster, and he would never admit he made a mistake. He's had plenty of opportunities to titrate his displasure during the evaluation process, thereby making it credible that she just didn't measure up, as it were. "Measured" is not a word RD understands. It's always "incredible" with him, or the opposite (nothing in between)--vicious mockery (which is directed at virtually everyone, probably his own kin included, the moment they walk away and he's brandishing his ego at the next gullible fool). He really is our own Trump, all ego and self-serving BS, just no billions to back it up. He does just fine with this INCREDIBLY gullible population in this stupid little burb, though, having had a free pass for many years now. He continues to bully and berate at will, along with making one bad and costly decision after another. He does it because his power is never checked by those who have an oath and responsibility to do so. They just lick his boots and he keeps his vicious cackling and irresponsible decisions going year after year. The corruption and contempt is rising to the surface, though, where even the MEF mommies can't stop it from creating yet another special toxic waste zone, this time the Wyoming Cemetery, in addition to the MPS and Water/Sewer fiasco, Retirement, and so many others. They gave her a new contract a year ago (and several months before they had to do so), with sickening gushy remarks about this "exemplary," "incredible" horror show from Dolan and Driscoll, as per usual.
On the other hand, CT granted a three year contract to an elementary school principal even after having knowledge that she admitted to filing a false police report against a family in retaliation for their filing a misconduct complaint against one of her teachers. One dirty and washes the other.
What about the other principal that lies through her teeth to the parents, administration, staff and herself let her go she has everyone kissing asses all over the school.

CT's "stable" of principals are consistent in their lack of qualifications, proven track record of incompetent, costly actions (each of them has cost the district heavily in legal expenses for their arrogant and ignorant actions or lack thereof). Truly there isn't a good one in the bunch. They are just plain awful. But too many parents here have eagerly abandoned their critical thinking abilities (or even their simple powers of observation) and become part of the administration's little army of suck-up sycophant parents. This is most unfortunate for the children of these foolish parents, whose children are being cheated out of the high-priced education their unreasonably inflated taxes (local corruption) are paying for. These parents have suspended reason in favor of going along with the mistaken view that their children will have a more favorable chance of doing well the more they suck up to administration. They are wrong, but it will be too late before or if they discover it, and their kids will be paying the price the rest of their lives. Many have already experienced this and could tell them, if only they cared enough to listen (but they don't).
Maybe there are some more cemetery plots these parents could buy, too, and perhaps a bridge or two....

That is the principal at the Roosevelt school I believe. I know the environment is a unhappy place with Marybeth and the way she treats her staff. Letting her staff come in late in the morning leave early is what has been said. She has everyone kissing ass you are correct. The schools are not what I have heard anymore. Having my fist child soon hope this city changes.

Did you ever work with a person that is continuously malign people to bring others down to make herself appear better than others? She's a malignancy in our school. Personally, I stay far away though nothing stops those who thrive on just plain delight in being mean. This person will never change and sht is getting worse.
A lot of the people you are talking about work in Melrose. They are everywhere in the Middle school and Roosevelt the school that no one wants to be in because they talk about you, students and parents all the time. The principal allows and promotes this. it. She cant stop lying to parents, staff and most of all she has CT thinking she is the greatest thing in the school system. You get what you pay for and this is bad. CT you should listen to your staff once in a blue moon.

That means nothing will be done with Driscoll as the head of the school committee - although she will be ready to step into the school business manager's position in a few years and this will get her off the committee - pulling down a $135k salary for the rest of her government career - with no previous experience just as the current one, Farrell! Send your children elsewhere - because there will not be any change in the corrupt school system for decades to come!

The city HAS a legal responsibility to post all job openings; at a minimum, it reassures the tax payers that city leaders are hiring qualified employees, and not just handing out jobs to friends and relatives.
