Re: Prise de la Grenade

Merci beaucoup pour le post de prise de la grenade - Tres bien!

Mais (but) ....... if the lovely dress in question was designed surrounding the capture of Grenada, - surely, the border design of the very pretty dress, should be nutmegs, or mace, not promegranates. On the contrary, I stand to be corrected, were promegranates abundant in Grenada around that time? - someone dive into the island's flora archive or archives! - Botanists,or someone working at the Botanical Gardens in town, please forward a post .......

A previous posting, showed loads of pineapples around St Georges'.... We had a distant relative living in Marigot and the family had a pomegranate tree in their front yard! - I was very young, we only visited about twice, and everytime we visited the fruit was not ready!
Any post authors, had pomegranates trees around their area?

Bonne journee
