RIP Sir Carlyle A Glean

Grenada's 5th Governor General, Sir Carlyle Arnold Glean GCMG (2008 - 2013) passed away today, Tuesday 21st December, 2021, at the age of 89.

He also served as Minister for Education 1990 to 1995

He was an active member of the St. Peter's RC Church community for many years.
He served as Chairman of various scholarship programs in Gouyave including the Cuthbert Peter's Scholarship Fund and The St. John's Educators Scholarship Fund.

Condolences to Lady Norma and the rest of the family.

Sir Carlyle's distinguished contributions to Gouyave and Grenada will never be forgotten.

RIP, Teacher Carlyle/Uncle Carl/ Sir Carlyle.

Not that I did not expect it considering how seriously ill he was when last I saw him. A friend called me a few minutes ago to tell me about Teacher Carl's death, but I had to read it on GoGouyave first before I could really accept it. Thanks for sharing. Condolences to Teacher Norm and the other family members. RIP.
